The last 18 months has been hard for the wedding industry, so we’re shining the spotlight on the best of the best; the independents, the individuals and incredible high-street brands too.
The Weddings Inc Industry awards are open to wedding suppliers old and new who are based across the whole of the UK. The Awards have been created to find and recognise excellent wedding suppliers and shout about how amazing they are.
How do the Weddings Inc.
Industry Awards work?
The awards process begins on 1st November, 2021 when wedding industry suppliers and their clients will be invited to nominate their favourite businesses.
Entries will close on Midnight Sunday 16th January, 2022. Judging will be completed across 9 regions of the UK and with 20 categories on a comprehensive points-based system. This will be completed by our talented judging panel alongside a public vote to ensure a fair chance for all sized wedding businesses.
The outcome will be an overall regional winner, as well as a highly commended for each category. Winners will be announced in April 2022.

How do nominations work?
Anyone can take part in our nominations process. You can enter your own business, you can nominate a business you think deserves the recognition or a supplier you love!
Does that automatically enter my business?
If you have entered your own business you have officially entered the awards. All nominees will be notified by email and invited to officially enter the awards. Award entries will be open until 31st January 2022 and cost £20 +VAT.
How does the public vote work?
After entries close, the public vote will open allowing you to ask past customers and people that know your business to vote for you.
How does nominating work?
Our awards are open to any wedding services or supplier in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Whether you have served 10 clients or 100 clients we encourage you to enter your own business or a business who you have received outstanding service from. Everyone can get involved!
How does the judging work?
We want to ensure that we’re recognising the best of the best. Therefore our awards are judged by a points based system. There are 200 points in total which will be split as follows; a total of 160 points can be rewarded by the judges, 40 points can be awarded through a public vote.
The judges will all be marking each business based on their online presence, reviews, social media presence, branding, professionalism and much more.
When does the public vote open?
We want you to get your customers involved and shout about how amazing you are. Public voting will go live on 1st February 2022.
Is there an entry fee?
For full transparency, yes there will be a small cost of £20 + vat to enter the awards. This is simply to ensure only those who wish to be entered are, and it enables us to have fabulous judges & create all of the content around the awards to promote your wedding business to drive more business your way.
How many categories are there?
Judging will cover wedding industry professionals across 9 regions of the UK and 20 different categories based on the services provided to clients.
