When you think boho chic, you think naturally bold, beautifully messy, and perfectly unique. That is exactly what was achieved with this Boho Chic Wedding In A Distillery. The off-white dress worn by the bride, worked perfectly with the wedding theme and colour pallet. The plain backdrop of the venue left room for lots of natural wedding décor and it all came together beautifully.
On the back wall the crescent moon of browns and yellows looked fantastic against the plain wooden chairs. Many couples spend lots of time thinking about chair covers and sashes. However, sometimes the chairs at the venue need nothing added to them. This is definitely the case for the chairs at this wedding. They matched the boho chic theme perfectly.
The reeds, roses, blooms and rushes looked stunning against the bride along the aisle and at the centre of the wedding. These whites, creams, beiges, reds and browns were naturally bold and beautifully messy. They attracted the eye with ease and quickly created a focal point for any guests, along with a great backdrop for photos.
Hair and Make Up
Delicate beads and flowers were used in the plait on the bride’s hair and this just added to the natural boho chic theme. The hair was beautifully done and looks incredible against the natural make up of the bride too. It’s important to remember that if you do have more of a natural theme, as a bride, you need to fit this. Big, bold make up and a huge tiara of diamonds wouldn’t work so well on a shoot with natural flowers like this.
Setting The Scene
The grooms suit definitely needed no reminder about the theme. This caramel brown suit worked wonderfully with the wedding theme and looked great against the groom’s skin tone too. The bow tie was filled with the colours of the wedding, and really stood out against the crisp white shirt. Adding a small, but beautiful, buttonhole kept to the theme too and worked really well against the colours worn by the groom. The buttonhole stood out, but not enough to distract the eye.
A Boho Chic Wedding In A Distillery needs candles. It adds to the romance of the special day, but the warming yellows add to the theme too. While small tea lights work well for many weddings creating that magical romance, these candlesticks are the perfect romantic addition to this wedding. They look superb against the table settings and flowers.
